Deploy
One AI chatbot for your website. And your inbox, Slack and Teams.
An AI chatbot for a website is a widget that answers visitors from your documentation, 24/7. Outlearn's installs with one script tag, and the same agent then answers your email inbox, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google Chat, or your own app through the API.
Free plan, no card. Configure the agent once; every channel answers from the same brain. Last updated 8 September 2026.

Where it lives
Website chat, an AI chatbot for email support, team chat, your app
Deployment is where your agent lives, and one agent can live in several places at the same time. Each channel is a card in the Deploy tab: Configure, Connect, done.
Website chat widget
Copy the snippet from the Deploy tab, paste it before </body> on any page you want the chatbot on. Chat title, welcome message, logo and primary colour are yours; the Preview button lets you test it before you paste anything.
Any site. Helpjuice knowledge bases embed it in one click.
Email inbox
Forward your support address to the agent’s inbound address. It reads each email, searches your sources, drafts a reply and sends it. When a question matches a handoff trigger, it escalates to your team instead.
Configure handoff first; some emails need a person.
Slack, Teams, Google Chat
Mention @Outlearn in any Slack channel and it answers inline, in the thread. Message it as a bot in Teams or in any Google Chat space. Set the agent to Internal and only authenticated team members can talk to it.
The same agent, reading the internal sources your team needs.
Your own app, via API
For interfaces the standard channels don’t cover: embed it anywhere, trigger it from any workflow, and decide how it looks and where it lives. API keys are created and revoked from the deployment settings.
Full control, same knowledge, same actions and handoffs.

The install
Paste one snippet before </body>. Preview it before you do.
The Deploy tab holds the appearance settings and the snippet. Everything the agent knows comes from the sources you connected, so the website install carries no content of its own to maintain.

Logged-in customers are recognised through a token your backend signs, so the widget can greet them by name and carry their verified identity into actions.
For the team, not just the customer
A Slack customer support bot your agents ask before they answer
Mention @Outlearn in any channel with the customer's question and the answer arrives in the thread, with the source. Because the agent is set to Internal, it reads the internal documentation your team needs and never shows it to a visitor.

The difference
Most website chatbots stop at the website
A typical website chatbot
Outlearn
Lives on the website. The inbox, Slack and Teams get a different bot, or nobody.
One agent, configured once. The widget, the inbox, Slack, Teams, Google Chat and your API answer from the same knowledge.
A tree of buttons that ends in “contact support”.
Reads your live documentation, answers with the source attached, and takes the action mid-conversation.
Installing means a developer ticket and a build.
One script tag before </body>. Test it with Preview first, no embed code needed.
Hands off to an email address and hopes.
Hands to your helpdesk with the transcript and a summary; inside Zendesk and Intercom, the Copilot drafts the reply for your agent.
Priced per seat, or per resolution.
Credits for the AI’s work. No seats, no charge for a handoff, free plan to start.
Pricing, for the record: credits for the AI's work, never per seat, never per channel. Free $0 with 100 credits, Starter $99/month with 2,000 credits, Growth $199/month with 4,500 credits, Scale $599/month with 15,000 credits. 14-day trial on paid plans, no card. Full detail on the pricing page.
Point it at your website, press Preview, then paste one line.

The questions teams ask before they paste the snippet
What is an AI chatbot for a website?
A chat widget on your site that answers visitors' questions from your documentation instead of a scripted menu, around the clock.
Outlearn's reads your live sources, shows the article behind each answer, takes actions such as booking a demo or looking up an order during the conversation, and hands off to your team with the full context when a person should take over.
How do I add the chatbot to my website?
From the Deploy tab, copy the script snippet and paste it just before the </body> tag on any page where you want the chatbot to appear.
Before that you can set the chat title, welcome message, logo (PNG, JPG or SVG) and primary colour, and test the agent with the Preview button in the dashboard, no embed code needed. Helpjuice knowledge bases embed the widget automatically when you connect the integration.
Can the same chatbot answer customer emails?
Yes.
In the Deploy tab, configure the Email card and set a forwarding rule from your support address to the agent's inbound address. The agent reads each email, searches its knowledge sources, drafts a response and sends it; if the question is beyond its scope or matches a handoff trigger, it escalates to your team. Set up handoff before enabling email, because some questions will need human follow-up.
Does it work in Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google Chat?
Yes.
Connect each one from the Team Chat section of the Deploy tab. In Slack, team members mention @Outlearn in any channel and the agent responds inline, in the thread. In Teams they message it directly as a bot or mention it in a channel; in Google Chat it answers in any space. Set the agent's accessibility to Internal so only authenticated team members can interact with it.
Can I build my own chat interface with the API?
Yes.
The API is for teams that need more than the standard channels offer: embed the agent anywhere, trigger it from any workflow, and build whatever interface your product requires, with full control over how it looks, where it lives and how it behaves. API keys are created, managed and revoked from the deployment settings.
What happens when the chatbot can't answer?
When a conversation is too complex, or a visitor asks for a person, Outlearn hands it off to the right human with the full conversation context already included, into Zendesk, Intercom, LiveChat, Freshdesk, HubSpot, Jira or Slack. Inside Zendesk and Intercom the Copilot goes further: for every ticket it reads the full conversation and drafts a suggested reply that your agent reviews, edits and sends with one click.
How much does the website chatbot cost?
Plans are priced by the AI work the agent does, never per seat and never per channel: adding email or Slack costs nothing extra.
The free plan needs no card and every paid plan has a 14-day trial. Full prices and credit allowances are on the pricing page.
